Day 1: Auckland - Hawkes Bay (D) Transfer to Auckland airport. Fly to Napier, centre of Art Deco style, and the heart of this major wine region. World class winery, Church Road awaits. Sample at two other notables - contemporary Trinity Hill and historic Ngatarawa. Enter the food lovers realm at Sileni Estates for a celebratory dinner.
Lombardi Private Retreats. Hawthorne Country House.

Day 2: Hawkes Bay (B, L) Try the winemakers' craft - blend wines then lunch at Te Awa Farm's vineyard restaurant with dishes designed by Rick Rutledge-Manning.
Afternoon at leisure. Tour nearby vineyards, artist studios and homestead gardens. Dine
at local restaurants.

Day 3: Hawkes Bay - Martinborough (B, D) Down to the Wairarapa. Lunch in arty
Greytown, relax in beautiful gardens. Check into gracious Martinborough Hotel or
superior bed & breakfast. Savour the wines of outstanding vineyards such as Ata Rangi
and Martinborough in a region renowned for pinot noir. An exclusive tasting with a leading
winemaker and matches with hand-made cheeses. Dine at Martinborough Hotel's bistrot.

 

One Skinny Cook, Jason Dell

Day 4: Martinborough - Marlborough (B, D) On to Wellington. Fly over Cook
Strait to Blenheim. Welcome to Marlborough and the world's premier sauvignon blanc estates. Savour intense herbaceous flavours at Hunters, Cloudy Bay and Wairau River. Visit other vineyards of your choice. Enjoy an inspired and distinctive culinary event with One Skinny Cook,
Jason Dell.

Day 5: Marlborough (B, D) Breakfast with methode traditionnelle wines at Cellier Le Brun. Discover the aromas of sauvignon blanc at Grove Mill. Your choice of alfresco vineyard lunching. Our farewell dinner - an exciting and memorable dining experience.

Day 6: Blenheim (B) Our tour concludes after breakfast. We can, however, arrange further post touring options.
