The
Heritage Queenstown is a superbly designed 5 star resort built in the
style of a grand European alpine lodge from centuries old schist stone.
A couple of kilometres from the city centre, it is set high overlooking
Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables. By day, and by night when the city
lights up, the view is enchanting.
This
deluxe property has 178 traditional hotel rooms and 1, 2 and 3-bedroom
apartments. Tastefully furnished with an extensive use of timber and
individual decorative touches, they offer very high standards of comfort
and facilities. All have a hi-fi entertainment unit with CD players
and television with Sky and movie channels. All bathrooms have a separate
bath and shower and quality toiletries. Apartment suites have a private
balcony with outdoor furniture and a full kitchen with dishwasher.

balcony where you can dine al fresco in summer. Exposed timber beams
and a wall of schist with an open fireplace make the Hilary Lounge a
great place for a quiet drink or two.
