Description

Milford Sound Fly & Cruise: Board your twin-engine high-winged aircraft and fly north along the shore of Lake Wakatipu over glorious alpine country to the Tasman Sea where Milford Sound enters the ocean. Turn inland to land at Milford and transfer to your 1 hour 45 minute Red Boat cruise which follows the southern shore of the sound to the sea, where it turns and follows the northern shore back to the Milford Sound Wharf. Return to your aircraft which flies south over the northern tip of Lake Te Anau and then east over Lake Wakatipu back to Queenstown. (Flights take 30 minutes. Flight routes may vary).

Milford Sound Coach, Cruise & Fly: Board you luxury glass-roofed Volvo coach at Queenstown for the four and a half hour scenic tour to Milford via Five Rivers and Te Anau. You will travel through New Zealand's longest road tunnel and see the towering mountains and waterfalls for which the area is famous. The tour includes expert commentary and regular stops for photographs and refreshments. Individual headsets with recorded commentary are provided for non-English speaking passengers. Arriving at the Milford Sound Wharf, board a Red Boat for a 1 hour 45 minute cruise. Join your aircraft for the 30 minute flight back to Queenstown.
