Every
day, every 30 minutes from Huka Jet base on the Waikato River in the
Wairakei Tourist Park, every 15 minutes for groups and in peak periods.
Reservations are essential. Operation subject to weather. Huka Jet base
is 6 kilometres from Taupo, 45 minutes drive from Rotorua.

cameras are not permitted for safety reasons. Still cameras are welcome
but passengers carry them at their own risk. Huka Jet carries comprehensive
insurance underwritten by the New Zealand Inbound Tour Operators Council
available for all international visitors.

the Waikato River to view the awesome spectacle of the white water tail
of the Huka Falls as 220,000 litres of water a second tumbles over the
cliff face. You will slide past sheer cliffs with just centimetres to
spare and pass clouds of steam rising where a hot stream joins the river.

for the awesome thrill as your driver spins the boat through 360 degrees
in its own length at high speed. The famous Shotover Jet Turn and the
exciting but safe drive techniques were developed by Huka Jet's parent
company, Shotover Jet. All Huka Jet drivers are superbly trained professionals
who have to complete 120 hours on the water before they carry their first
passenger.
