Topauckland harbour bridge climb

Auckland Harbour Bridge ClimbWhile in Auckland you have to experience the Harbour Bridge climb! The Auckland Harbour Bridge was opened on 30th of May 1959 and it took over 200 workers around 4 years to build.

Auckland Bridge Climb opened in December 2001, allowing the public access to the Bridge for the first time since 1959. Join professional trip leaders for a magical 1.5 hour adventure on, around, up and under Auckland's stunning Harbour Bridge, nestled over the beautiful Waitemata Harbour. A unique way to see the volcanic and marine regions of Auckland – and is safe and fun for anyone aged 7 years or older. Stylishly converted paths make for an easier trip, with ladder-like walkways and kindly curving arches adding to the thrill of being 67 meters (200 feet) above the water.

Well informed guides share the bridge's colorful secrets, amazing architectural features and the myth and legend surrounding this New Zealand landmark. And way above it all, stretching into the distance, the 360 degree views from the bridge's summit are a spectacular reward. Magnificent picture postcard views of a bustling harbor, island landscapes and vibrant city skyline make Harbour Bridge Experience truly 'the ultimate high'!

Tophalf day glacier experience

Glacier ExperienceA fantastic introduction to an enthralling world of ice traversing! Spectacular tracks of only moderate difficulty, and suitable for most agile people. The walk allows you plenty of time to enjoy the impressive terrain on the lower reaches of Franz Josef Glacier.

After being fitted out with boots at the `office` a 10 minute bus ride takes you to within 3km of the glacier. After a short walk through regenerating rainforest, the trip continues along the glacier valley with your guide explaining the unique features of The Franz Glacier and surrounding environment.

After strapping on a set of Ice Talonz you make your way up the terminal face of the glacier, where pre-formed access ways make exploring the lower reaches of the glacier achievable for most agile people.

The terrain can look daunting, but the huge effort our guides put in to creating extensive trails, together with the Ice Talonz on your feet, allows you to go further and see more, whilst travelling in comfort and at ease.
